Roberta Louise Pankau

Roberta Louise Pankau (Bobbie Lou) age 80. A resident of Estes Park, Colorado passed away on May 19, 2015. Bobbie was a loving and caring Mother and Grandmother. She was born March 18, 1935 to Glenn and Wilma Todd of Valentine Nebraska. She grew up in Valentine Nebraska and graduated from Valentine High School. She received her BA degree in early childhood education, from Dakota Wesleyan College before moving to Colorado in 1955 where she met her husband of 50 years, Leo. Bobbie was a passionate and dedicated early childhood educator. She owned and operated two child care centers, first in Denver and then in Estes Park. Bobbie and Leo were the proud owners of Special Me Preschool from 1985 to 2004. They were also the owner/operators of Triple ""R"" Cottages from 1985 until their retirement in 2006. Bobbie was preceded in death by: Glenn and Wilma Todd, Parents: Leo Pankau, Husband: Brian Pankau, Grandson: Lindsey Hays, Granddaughter. She is survived by: Tod Pankau; Lakewood, Colorado; Lisa and Scott Hays; Ft Collins, Colorado; Brad and Aimee Pankau; Highlands Ranch, Colorado. Grandchildren: Jes and Kristin Pankau; Loveland, COolorado Zach and Dusti Hays; Richland, Washington; Kaley Hays; Boise, Idaho. Great Grandchildren: Jamie Pankau and Joshua Pankau Loveland, Colorado.
