Robert "Bob" Miller

September 6, 1926 — August 16, 2022

Robert “Bob” David Miller passed away on August 16, 2022, at the age of 95. Bob was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, cousin and friend. He will be greatly missed.

Bob was born in Denver, Colorado. After graduating from North High School, he served in the United States Navy. Upon his return from the Navy, Bob attended the University of Denver. He graduated with a degree in business. He became a mortgage banker, and continued in a career as a banker until his retirement.

Bob was also a musician. He played his trumpet in school, the Navy, and then professionally in dance bands. He loved big band music and jazz. His trumpet could be heard in the neighborhood on special occasions. No one ever complained.

Bob loved to travel. Fishing trips and family vacations were memorable. After retirement, he and his precious wife Rose Ann, had wonderful trips to Europe and Africa. Bob particularly enjoyed being part of a classic car club and driving his classic car, which he purchased new in the fifties, to conventions and shows throughout the county.

Bob was preceded in death by his wife Rose Ann, son Andrew, and son-in-law Dennis. He is survived by his daughter Cecilia, daughter-in-law Carol, and their families.
