The family of Robert “Rob” Graser is mourning his loss after he suddenly and unexpectedly passed away on June 4, 2022 at the age of 55 years old. He is affectionately remembered and will truly be missed by his soul mate, best friend and wife of 35 years, Laura Graser. Rob is also survived by his two sons Mitch and Will, his mother Deloris Graser, his sister Holly Houston and brother Troy Graser. Rob was preceded in death by his father Marv Graser and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Rob was born on September 30, 1966 in Bountiful, Utah. When he was a teenager, he moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ where he met the love of his life and his future wife while in high school. Rob and Laura were married in Sedona, AZ on August 9, 1986 and they have shared an amazing and truly wonderful life together, albeit too short.
Rob earned his Bachelor of Science degree at Hawthorne University and became an aviation pilot and administrator. Captain Rob Graser has served in multiple roles as a pilot, check airman, assistant and chief pilot and the manager of Flight Standards at SkyWest Airlines for over 26 years. Everyone who has worked with Rob will say that he is a pilot’s pilot and that his spirit, commitment and dedication to doing the right thing will always remain with them in the flight deck.
Rob’s time with us has been cut short and he will be forever missed. He leaves behind countless memories of love, friendship, laughter and a steadfast dedication to his family and friends. Rob was truly a kind, loyal, respectful, dedicated friend and a committed family man. He will forever remain in our hearts.
Memorial services and reception will take place at Cherry Creek Presbyterian Church on Tuesday, June 14th at 1:00 pm. The address is 10150 E. Bellevue Ave., Greenwood Village, CO 80111. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a memorial donation to the American Heart Association or the Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund in Rob’s honor.
