Roden Thomas Powner

Roden Thomas Powner, age 87, died in his home in Centennial, Colorado on July 24, 2023. He is survived by his wife, Helen, their son, Dave, his granddaughters Sarah, Rachel, and Mara, his son Paul and his wife, Leah, and 3 grandchildren Milena, Carina, and Roden. He is also survived by his brother, Matt, nieces, nephews, and many friends. He was preceded in death by their daughter, Lorraine.

Roden, Helen, and their family moved from Pittsburgh in 1978. He worked for United Airlines for over 30 years before retiring. He was a veteran having served in the Marine Corps. Roden was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan and loved working on his cars and around the house. Roden always was there to lend a helping hand to his family and friends.

Funeral services will take place at Saint Thomas More Catholic Church in Englewood, Colorado, August 18, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. A reception will be held immediately after at the church. Burial services will be private that afternoon at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver, Colorado.
