Roderick R. Greenfield

December 31, 1954 — December 23, 2017

Roderick Greenfield 12/31/54-12/23/17 Roderick Richard Greenfield of Centennial, Colorado passed away peacefully with his wife by his side on December 23, 2017, just eight days before his 63rd birthday. Rod is survived by his wife Pamela of seventeen years, his daughter Baylie, and numerous family and friends. Rod was a proud Marine and served his country in Vietnam. He was a devoted husband, father, and friend. He will always be remembered by his family and friends as a loyal, funny, and caring person who had a special place in his heart for all veterans and animals. He enjoyed music and shared that love with his daughter. Rod and Baylie attended several concerts together and loved every minute of their time spent together. Attending Brit Floyd at Red Rocks became their annual tradition. He became an enthusiastic Colorado Avalanche fan with the encouragement of his wife. Rod and Pam enjoyed going to the hockey games at the Pepsi Center or just watching Avalanche hockey together at home. His love for animals ensured the home was always full of loving “fur babies”. A celebration of Roderick’s life will be held at Fort Logan National Cemetery staging area A on April 12, 2018 at 1:00pm. Spring was Rod’s favorite season, and we thereby request his celebration of life be filled with beautiful spring colors. Memorial donations may be made in Roderick’s honor to Vietnam Veterans of America or your favorite animal shelter.
