Roger Lee Bergey

Mr. Roger Lee Bergey, of Wheat Ridge, CO, died on October 2, 2017 at the age of 70. Roger was born on February 10, 1947 in Chester, Pennsylvania. His parents, Milton and Charlotte Bergey, moved Roger and his brother and sister to Yeadon, PA. Roger received his undergraduate degree at the Drexel University, and held various positions throughout his life. In 1972, Roger married Diane Flannery, and the couple had one daughter and one son. The couple moved to Arvada, Colorado in 1975 and then ultimately to Wheat Ridge, CO. Roger will be loved and missed by surviving former spouse, Diane; daughter, Erin; son, Eli; and grandchildren, Shea, Asher, Avery and Teagan. He is predeceased by his parents, Milton and Charlotte. Roger was big in everything he did, everything he said and we will be lost without our patriarch. At Roger's request, no services will be held in Colorado; however, a service is being planned in his hometown of Yeadon for a later date. Condolences may be sent to 7799 W. 47th Avenue, Wheat Ridge, Colorado 80033. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be sent to Jefferson County Open Space, where Roger spent many days on the trails. ""We never lose our loved ones.
