Roger L. Garcia

Roger, 70, passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2012. He was very active in the Veterans of Foreign War, Life Member, All State Commander for the Post in Golden 4171, then transferred to the Post in Thornton 7945 and transferred to Commerce City 4444; Seam Squirrel for the Military Order of Cooties and Life Member; American Legion Post #22, Past Commander, Former Member of the Honor Guard, and Member of the 40 and 8; and Member of Northglenn Elks 2438 and Past Trustee. Preceded in death by his parents, Martin & Maria Garcia; and brother, Joe R. Garcia. Survived by his son, Kevin; sister, Lucy (Leonard) Portugal; and granddaughter, Shania. Viewing, Monday, February 13, 2012 at 9:30 AM, with Funeral Mass, 10:30 AM, both at Saint Mark Catholic Church, 3141 West 96th Avenue, Westminster. Interment with full military honors, 1:00 PM, Fort Logan National Cemetery, Area ""A"", 3698 South Sheridan Blvd, Denver.
