Roger F. Marez Sr.

Roger F. Marez began his life in a small town just outside of Trinidad, Colorado, born inside his family home to his father Albino Marez and his mother Sofia Marez. No Birth Certificate and no proof that this studly cowboy ever existed except for the long wild life and big family left behind.

From a handsome Navy Sailor, to a strong rodeo bull rider, to the loving husband, father and Papa he grew to be! His love for his wife, Theresa, was like no other! They would take over any dance floor they found to show off their country western moves! There weren't many dull moments in his life with his 12 children and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and yes even great-great-grandchildren who loved him dearly and always greeted him with joy, ""Hi Papa!"". The memories he made with his family were his most treasured. It didn't matter if it was getting all dressed in his Broncos gear for a Sunday football game or if it was trying to keep control of his very loud children during a family gathering, he always had a smile when it came to spending time with his family! We will cherish those memories made with him forever!

This dancing rodeo family man has left his mark on many and will be forever missed.

Roger is proceeded in death by his brothers Joe Albert, Rueben and Henry, his sisters Josephine, and Cordelia, his daughter Rogane, and his grandson Justin. He is survived by his wife Theresa Marez, his daughters Jeanne(Husband Kenny), Annette (Husband Joe), Leslie (Husband Rick), Renee, and Sophia, Robyn, sons Rory (Wife Wendy), Roger Jr. (Wife Diane), George and Randy as well as grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
