Rognar ""Knute,"" ""Bud,"" Papa,"" Knutson was born in 1934, and died at home on August 1, 2018 after a short, hard fought battle with leukemia.
Knute joined the United States Coast Guard in 1953 where he served four years of active duty and four years of reserve. After serving in the Coast Guard, Knute began his career with Mountain Bell, where he worked until he retired at age 51.
Bud enjoyed so many different interests and hobbies, including spending time with family, woodworking, jewelry making, electronics, and gardening.
Papa supported any and all activities that his grandchildren were involved in.
Bud is survived by his wife Rilla, brother Everett (Mary), daughters Tammie (John), Terrie (Mike), and Tracie (Brent), six grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.
