Roland Leljedal

Roland Leljedal, kind Husband, gentle Father, and loyal Son and Brother peacefully ended his battle with lengthy illness on November 16, 2012. Roland was born in Ludwigsburg, Germany on October 14, 1947. A longtime Colorado resident and 9th Division Vietnam combat veteran, he enjoyed fishing, skiing, reading, cars, and spending time with his family and fellow veterans. He spent over 25 years working at Shepard's Citations in Colorado Springs, and after retiring, resided in Tucson, Arizona for 4 years, returning to Colorado to reside in Castle Rock since 2006. Roland was preceded in death by his father, and very recently by his mother, Helen L. Leljedal. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Deborah, his son Roland L., and his siblings Iris Murphy, Martin Leljedal, and Brunhilde Keller. Roland was a reflective, honorable man who was deeply loved and who will be sorely missed.
