Roma Trujillo

Roma J. Trujillo, 73, of Arvada passed away in peace on July 23, 2022 in the comfort of her daughter's residence, surrounded by her loving family. Born on August 22, 1948 in Denver, Colorado she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Hilda (Cominotti) Asciutto. Roma married John Trujillo on September 24, 1966 and together they shared 52 years of marriage.

Roma's life revolved around her family. She looked forward to cooking Sunday dinners for her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed game nights with her family and everyone getting together to watch the Broncos games. Roma had a very kind soul and captured the heart of everyone who knew her.

She is survived by her children, Lisa Morrison and Joey (Andrea Eddy) Trujillo, her grandchildren, Matthew (Christy) Morrison, Jacklyn (Kyle) Busche, Zoey Dutton, John Trujillo, Bayden Eddy, Joseph Trujillo, Kenny Eddy, and Ryder Eddy, her great-grandchildren, Callie Busche, Nixon Morrison, and Audrey Busche, and her siblings, Regina "Tuttie" Deaser, and Ron (Susan) Asciutto.

She is preceded in death by her husband, John J. Trujillo, her parents, Joe and Hilda, her daughter, Gina Trujillo, her grandson, Zachary Dutton, and her brother, William Asciutto.

A Rosary will be held on Monday, August 8th, 2022 at 7 pm with a Visitation starting at 6 pm at Holy Family Catholic Church, 4377 Utica St, Denver, CO 80212. The Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, August 9th, 2022 at 9:30 am also at Holy Family. Entombment will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery, 7777 W 29th Ave, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033.
