Romaine Kay Blake

Romaine Kay Blake, 61, was born October 10, 1942 in Oshkosh, Wisconsin and passed away June 2, 2004. She is the beloved wife of Robert, mother of Shawn (Amy), Deriek (Becca) and Melissa (Austin). Many other family and friends will miss her. Bob and Romaine were married for 36 happy years. She enjoyed spending time with her three children and five grandchildren, Collin, Evan, Brookelyn, Kaylie, and Alaina. Romaine was diagnosed with brain cancer in October 2002. Despite her illness and treatments, she maintained her sense of humor, her love of life and the joy of her family. SHE WILL BE FOREVER REMEMBERED. Visitation will be Friday, June 4, 2004, 5:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. at the Horan and McConaty Family Chapel, 3201 South Parker Road, Aurora, Colorado. The funeral mass will be Saturday, June 5, 2004, 1:00 p.m., at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 13120 East Kentucky Ave. Services conclude at the church. The family invites everyone to attend the reception immediately following the mass.
