Roman P. Kozlowski was born on June 27, 1928 in Lwow, Poland. Loving husband of 54 years to Lu. Father of Michael, Steve, John, Joe, Patsy (all Kozlowski) and Mary Cencich, 14 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by a sister Sofie, who still resides in Poland. Preceded in death by his parents Peter and Anna, and brother, Richard. Roman grew up in Poland and was taken by the Nazis at the age of 14 to work on a farm. He was liberated by the U.S Army on April 1, 1945. Roman came to the US in 1949, sponsored by the Catholic Church. 1951 was a great year as he joined the US Army and married Luella Creviston. Roman served in both Korea and Vietnam, retiring in 1971 after 20 years of service. He was the manager of Hiwan Golf Club, in Evergreen, from 1971 to 1979. Roman and his family owned and operated several Burger Kings from 1978 through his retirement in 1992. Roman went to heaven on Wednesday, November 9th, with his family at his side.
