Ronald W. ""Ron"" Albright

Ronald W. “Ron” Albright, 79, of Erie, Colorado passed away at his home and surrounded by his family on April 24, 2019. Ron is survived by his wife, Elizabeth “Beth” Albright; children, Amy (Barry) Hines, Donna Albright, Nita Machado, Ted (Pam) Albright, Jeremiah Albright, Jennifer (JJ) Overall and Katie (Andrew) Hearn; sister, Nancy (Vaugh) Wilhelm; 15 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; 10 brothers/sisters-in-law; 14 nieces & nephews; and 11 great nieces & nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ralph & Irene Albright; and son, Daniel Albright.

Ron was a simple man. He was born in China Grove, North Carolina to Ralph & Irene Albright. He loved to share stories of his youth, his love for farming, his grandparents and living the country life. Ron loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. The holidays were some of his favorite times – he looked forward to the seafood dinner at Christmas, the turkey and pecan pies at Thanksgiving and the Easter brunch with lamp chops and cream puffs.

He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.

Celebration of Ron’s Life will be Wednesday. May 1, 2019, 11am followed by a Reception, both at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 9998 Grant Street, Thornton.
