Ronald R. “Ron” Clark, 80, of Denver, CO passed away on July 9, 2022 at home surrounded by family and friends.
He was born on July 7, 1942 to Ralph and Mary (Cost) Clark in Redding, OH.
Ron was a "Jack of all Trades", when talking with him it seemed there wasn’t a job he hadn’t done and he could fix anything. Ron worked any available job until he took a position at RTD in 1966 where he was employed for 17 years. In 1983, he started his own maintenance and contracting business which he enjoyed for many years until his retirement. Ron retired early in 2004 after being diagnosed with congestive heart failure. Despite the challenges of living with a serious medical condition, he was determined to enjoy life to the fullest. He continued to do this as he battled a plethora of other health issues during the remaining 18 years of his life.
No matter how he was feeling, Ron was always a phone call away and would drop whatever he was doing whenever his family or friends needed help. He was a selfless man, sometimes stubborn, and did these things for people out of the kindness of his heart. Ron also loved his dogs, and would spoil not only his own, but his daughter's pets which he enjoyed taking care of whenever necessary. Ron touched the hearts of many and will be dearly missed.
Ron is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Avis; their daughter, Sarah (David) Staal; his former wife, Linda Fox; their children, Rhonda Clark (Jim Buteau) and Jeff Clark; grandchildren, Sabina, Wesley, Ben, Michael and Simone; sister Judith Hull; brother Charles Clark; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, godchildren, his dogs, grand puppies and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph & Mary Clark; daughter, Brenda Clark; sisters, Bessie Finch, Sandra Smith and Rebecca Brenner; and brother, David Clark.
