On Wednesday, November 2, 2022, Ronald Compos, beloved husband, father of two, grandfather of four, passed away at the age of eighty-seven. An accomplished artist, Ron valued time spent in his studio, creating unique works of art that brought joy to many.
Ron is a veteran of the Vietnam War and served honorably in the Army, achieving a rank of First Sergeant. He was also deployed to Germany and Korea during his service career.
Ron loved to read and had a voracious appetite for knowledge. His love of music stemmed from his time in Los Angeles record stores. He enjoyed a lively round of golf now and then and we cannot forget to mention his all time favorite sports team -- Go Broncos! He was known for his even temperament and harmonious demeanor. He loved everyone and everyone loved him.
Ron was last in a line of 7 siblings: Marcela, Dennis, Geraldine, Thomas, William, Ronald, Rita. In his youth at the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota he attended Holy Rosary Mission School and later moved to Los Angeles to live with his older sister Geraldine.
