Ronald W. Czarnecki

Of Centennial, Colorado passed on August 25th, 2011. Ron (Slim) a loving husband to Sharon and her best friend. A wonderful father to Dave (Cele) and Charis (Dan) and a proud grandfather to Samantha and Nicholas. Ron was raised in Chicago by Polish immigrant parents, Walter and Frances and grew up with his older brother, Richard. Ron served his country in the United States Army as a Field Communication Crewman and also achieved ""sharpshooter"" status in both the carbine and rifle. Ron worked for United Airlines for 42 years to include Ramp Service and Food Service Management and retired in 1997. Ron and Sharon were married August 26th, 1961 in Pentwater, Michigan. They were one day shy of celebrating ""50"" years of marriage when Ron passed. Ron was a dear friend to all who knew him. He had an amazing sense of humor that was contagious to everyone he interacted with. Ron LOVED any and all Polish jokes. So much so, that he displayed his Polish memorabilia around his bar and in his office and even created his own filing system that contained all of his jokes. Over the years, his friends would try to ""out do"" each other to see who could buy him the most humorous item. Ron lived his life as the ""numbers"" guy. Everything had to be exact and precise to the point that he would lose sleep if his checkbook did not balance to the penny. An excellent example, Ron entered this life on August 25, 1935 and began his eternal life August 25, 2011. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 30, 2011 from 3:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. at Horan & McConaty Funeral Service/Cremation, 5303 East County Line Road, Centennial, Colorado 80122. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. also at Horan & McConaty in Centennial. A Graveside Service will follow at 12:15 P.M. at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 3698 South Sheridan Boulevard, Denver, Colorado 80235.
