Memorial Services will be at Horan & McConaty 11150 E. Dartmouth Avenue Aurora, CO 80014 on Thursday December 12, 2019 at 11:00AM

Interment will be at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver, CO 4400 W Kenyon Ave, Denver, CO 80236 on Tuesday December 17, 2019 at 2:30pm.

Ronald Wayne Dreas was born Baby Dreas on March 8, 1934 to William J. F. Dreas and Dora (Fowler) Dreas in South Sioux City, NE where he was raised and attended school.

Ronald was drafted and inducted into the US Army in 1956 and served in South Korea after the Armistice. He was Honorably Discharged in 1958. He was employed with Armour & Company from 1952 until his retirement in 1984. He was later employed with Bomgaars Supply retiring in 1999.

Ronald was united in marriage with Mercedes Bauerly at Saint Boniface Church in Sioux City, IA. The couple resided in South Sioux City where they raised their family. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards, working crossword puzzles and was a die hard Husker fan.

Ronald is survived by his wife Mercedes (Bauerly) Dreas residing in Aurora, CO, four children: Scott Dreas (and Audra) of Bella Vista, AR; Eric Dreas (and Cheriè) of Aurora, CO; Sara Dreas of Aurora CO, and Kyle Dreas (and Katrina) of Aurora, CO. He also has 10 Grandchildren: Brett Dreas, Spencer Dreas, Aaron Dreas, Amber (Dreas) Jackson, Austyn Dreas-McAdoo, Kellen Dreas-McAdoo, Marissa Dickinson, Brandon Dickinson, Nikita Dreas, and Kyra Dreas. He has 3 Great Grandchildren.

Ronald was preceded in death by his parents William and Dora; his brothers; William, Kenneth, Donald, and Glen, and sisters; Louise Cramer, Nancy Chester, Ruby, and Helen Boyd.
