Ronald Wayne Gale

June 1, 1946 — October 9, 2012

Ronald Wayne Gale of Arvada, Colorado, passed away, Tuesday, October 9 2012 at Exempla Lutheran Hospital. The funeral service will be held October 15th from 11 AM to noon at the LDS Arvada Stake Center, 7078 Independence Street, Arvada, CO, 80004. Family will receive visitors in the relief society room at the Stake Center at 10AM before the service. The dedication of the grave will follow at The Fort Logan National Cemetery, 4400 West Kenyon Avenue, Denver, CO from 1:15 -2:00 PM. Ron was born June 1, 1946 in Muskegon, Michigan. He graduated from Glendale Arizona High School in 1964 where he played in the high school marching band and orchestra. He served the LDS Church on a mission in Germany. He graduated from Brigham Young University in 1974. On September 11, 1971 he married Vera Luise Stanton in the Manti, Utah temple. Ron served our country as a military intelligence officer in the U.S. Air Force. He enjoyed serving in the LDS Church. During his church service he enjoyed working with children and spent a great deal of time preparing for lessons, and discussions as well as remembering birthdays and important events of the youth he served. Ron had a great love for music and spent many years singing in choirs like the Colorado Mormon Chorale, as well as church choirs. He also enjoyed reading and had a valuable and extensive library. Ron is survived by his Mother, MK Gale, his wife Vera, two sons, Lee Deussen and his wife Melissa of San Diego, CA, George Deussen and his wife Alyson of Bountiful, Utah and Peggy North of Arvada, twelve grandchildren, and 3.5 great-grandchildren.
