Rosalie Marie Jacob

Rosalie Marie Jacob, 72, of Aurora, entered into eternal life Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at her home. Rosalie was born September 16, 1938 in Lincoln, NE to Francis and Margaret (Schluterbusch) Jacob. She received her education and graduated from Lincoln High School and then graduated from the University of Nebraska, and later graduated from Flight Attendant School in Kansas City, Missouri in 1960. She resided in Chicago, New York, and Aurora, CO while employed with Trans World Airlines traveling internationally from 1960 until 1998 when she retired. She enjoyed being active in the church. Rosalie is survived by her niece Roberta Schild of Gering, NE; nephew Don (Nancy) Schild of Arvada, CO; nephew Jim (Deb) Schild of Gering, NE, great niece Katie (Wes) Hinze, great-great nephew and great-great niece Taylem and Kaylee Hinze of Norfolk, NE, great niece Carlie (Will) Fellers of Lexington, NE; nephew Kevin (Stacey) Schild, great nephew Alex Schild, great nieces Erin and Marissa Schild of Lincoln, NE. Rosalie was preceded in death by her parents, brother Donald Jacob and sister Gretchen Schild. Rosalie was blessed with many life-long good friends and neighbors. Rosalie was a loving and devoted daughter, sister, and aunt. She will be sadly missed by all of her family, friends, and neighbors. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00pm, Saturday, August 27, at Christ the Savior Lutheran Church in Aurora, CO with Reverend Paul A. Ziegler officiating. An additional Memorial Service will be held at 10:00am, Saturday, September 3, at Friedens Lutheran Church in Lincoln, NE with interment following at Lincoln Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations in Rosalie's name are suggested to Christ the Savior Lutheran Church, 1092 S.
