Rosalie ""Rose"" (Todd) Strawser, 90, passed away on August 28, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. Born on October 10, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Charley G. and Maxine Ione (Britton) Todd. Rose was born and raised in Montpelier, Ohio. She married her high school sweetheart, Paul E. Strawser and together they celebrated 53 wonderful years of marriage. Paul passed away in 1999. Rose had many different jobs, but was most known for being a care taker. Rose enjoyed crafts and made Christmas ornaments each year. Rose and Paul lived in Florida and she moved to Colorado 3 years ago to be closer to her family. Rose is survived by her daughter, Carolyn R. Rasmussen and her husband, Brian; her son-in-law's, Bob Neff and Bill Hudson; her grandchildren, Adrienne (Ebbie) Shafizadeh, Scott (Kimberlee) Arthur, Jason (Sio) Straka, Brian (Courtney) Straka, Carrie (Stacey) Yarbrough, Matthew (Lauren) Neff; her great grandchildren, Andrew and Adam Shafizadeh, Axel Richards, Bentley King, Dominic Hajek, Paul Arthur, Sandy Arthur, Constance Arthur, Corey Arthur, Halee Arthur, Kyle Sulgham, Maci Rasmussen, Connor Rasmussen, Noah Yarbrough, Micah Evans, Tae'Sean Evans, and Beau Yarbrough; her nieces and nephews, Teri, Tom, Tim and Todd Strawser, John and Rob Carr, Susan Garmyn, and Cheryl Gillispie. Rose is predeceased by her daughters, Cindy Neff and Connie Hudson, and her siblings, Nan (Bud) Norris, Fran (John) Carr, and Jim (Rosalyn) Todd. A Memorial Service for Rose will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Peace with Christ Lutheran Church, 3290 South Tower Road, Aurora, CO 80013.
