Rosalie Carol Sigafoose Ulibarri died Saturday May 23rd at 2AM in Westminster, Colorado. She was the daughter of Cecil Loraine Sigafoose and Martha Ida Lubben. Rosalie was born on September 25th, 1933 in Quincy, Illinois. She was the middle of five children, Cecil Loraine Sigafoose II, Coralie Ann Meyerand, Martha Lou Haywood, and Marcia Kay Nirider, all now deceased. While growing up in Quincy, Illinois she attended St James Lutheran Church and elementary school and then Quincy High School. She married Gerald Lee Points, Sr. and they had five children together. Pamela Hobbs, Penny Points, Sherrie Randall, Arnie Points, and Jerry Points Jr. Jerry Sr. was the Adams County Coroner for 24 years and that put he and Rose in the forefront of society for many years. She was active in the Republican Party and Jaycees. After Jerry and Rose divorced she married Archie Smith of Hull, Illinois. They moved to Denver, Colorado and eventually all five of her children followed. Archie was the Manager for the Dispersed West section of the metro area for Denver Housing Authority. As Archie's health failed, Rose went to work with him for the last 2 years of his life and when he passed, Rose was offered his position at DHA. She eventually became manager of the Columbine project which is where she was working when she retired in 2001. She met Tom Ulibarri via christiansingles.com on June 15th, 2003 and although he was in Hawaii, they eventually met and were married on November 20th, 2003. Tom passed in December 2009 and that left a large void in Rose's life and heart. Rose will be remembered with deep love by her grandchildren and great grandchildren: Kirsten Chute (Tom) and their children Hayley, Christopher and Abby; Cindy Kennedy (John) and their daughter Ashley â Laura Wood (Matt) and their daughters Emmaline Rose and Madeline â and Michael Ryan Lapp, Pam's family; Evan Points, Penny's son; Clint Randall (Cora) and their sons Issacc and Tyler â Retta Watts (Jesse) and their sons Gavin, Elyjah and Danny Lee â Grace Randall, Sherrie's family; Arnie and his son Max Points and daughter Shannon Mroz and her sons Shane and Aaron; Jerry and his daughter Shanna Points and son Shane Points.
