Rosalie Williams

Rosalie C. Williams of Lakewood, Colorado passed away on August 29, 2022 at the age of 84.

Rosalie is survived by her daughter, Esther Williams, son George (Gretchen) Williams Jr; 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband George E. Williams.

She was born July 7, 1938, attended Bancroft Elementary, Alameda Junior and Senior High School, graduating in 1956 and married George in November of 1958. Gates was her employer three different times, hired for the last time in 1973. She willingly and happily took early retirement when it was offered in '97.  She was an active member of Harvey Park Baptist Church and belonged to the American Baptist Women's Ministries. Loved her flower gardens and doing handwork.

A Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 8, 2022 beginning at 5-7pm, Horan & McConaty Family Chapel. A Funeral Service honoring Rosalie life will be held on Friday, September 9, 2022 at 3pm, Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3101 South Wadsworth Boulevard, Lakewood, with a reception to follow.  She will be laid to rest with her husband on Thursday, September 22, 2022 at 12:00 PM, Fort Logan National Cemetery, 3698 South Sheridan Boulevard, Denver.
