Rose Anne Eaton

Rose Anne Eaton, 90 years old, of Littleton, Colorado, passed away on June 1, 2013 Rose Anne was born on July 17, 1922 in Colliers, West Virginia to Anthony & Julia Jordan growing up with her siblings Esther, Margie, and Albert. Rose Anne was married to James Eaton in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on September 4, 1942. She was a supporter of the Mt. Washington Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania little league baseball association and other organizations where her 10 children participated in sports and other activities. Rose Anne worked as a telephone switch board operator in Pittsburgh during WWII, but saw her real calling to be a homemaker and a loving mother. She later worked as a sale representative for Matthew Moving Company in Bethesda, Maryland and a bookkeeper for Best Car Buys in Denver, Colorado. Rose Anne lived in many placed throughout her life including Colliers, West Virginia; Crafton, Pennsylvania; Pittsburgh Pennsylvania; Denver, Colorado; Rockville, Maryland; Seattle, Washington; and Littleton, Colorado. She enjoyed bingo, painting, pottery, flowers, was a great listener, mentor, surrogate mother to many of her children's friends, and all of those who had the opportunity to know Rose Anne would enjoy her smile, wisdom and friendship. Most of all she loved having her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren coming by for visits. Rose Anne is preceded in death by her husband James Albert Eaton, Sr. and her sons David Paul & Thomas George. She is survived by her children, James Eaton Jr., Michael, Kathy, Bob, Danny, Sandy, Maureen, Mary and Shawn; 26 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and numerous loving nieces and nephews. Three words that sum up the life.....it is what it is! A Visitation will be held at 1:00 PM and conclude with a Funeral Service at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3101 South Wadsworth Blvd., Lakewood, Colorado An Interment service will be held at 11:30 AM on Thursday, June 6, 2013 at Ft.
