Rose Marie Fredrickson

Roland and Rose Marie were married on November 11, 1955. They moved to Arvada, Colorado in 1959, along with their daughter, Jan. Rose drove a school bus for the Arvada Seventh-day Adventist School and went on to drive for Jefferson County Schools. Rose then became one of the first women to work for District R-1 driving a dump truck and snow plow. Oh, how she loved plowing snow! Every spring, Rose would look forward to planting season. She loved her garden and had quite the green thumb. Rose was also an accomplished china painter. In fact, she designed her kitchen around her art. “She was something special to be able to put up with me for the last 62 years.” ~ Roland Rose is at rest now, cradled in the hands of God. Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, November 15, 2017, 10:30 AM at Golden Seventh-day Adventist Church, 3101 South Golden Road, Golden, Colorado.
