Rose worked in retail until her marriage to John Galasso, July 18, 1953. She and John moved to Denver where they raised their family. After the premature death of John, Rose became active in her parish. As a member of the Alter and Rosary Society and St. Joseph Circle, she volunteered many hours, including cleaning the church and serving at the senior luncheons well into her 80's. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, sister and friend. Rose will be remembered for her fabulous cooking, her good nature and her constant smile. She enjoyed ceramics, bunco, travel and watching the Rockies. Rose is survived by her three children, Kathy, Bob and Joanie (Dave); five grandchildren, Gina and Ryan Zaccagnini; and Brad, Jeff (Sandra) and Brian Holden; four siblings, Carl, Sarah (Sam), Lena (Charlie), Dominic (Marge); sister-in-law, Lena; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband John, and siblings, Vince, Fay, Frances, Nick, Tom and Frank. The family is grateful for the care Rose received from Mary Lou, Carol, Wendy, Angela and Shannon. It has been said by many that anyone who knew Rose was a better person for it. She lived her faith.
