Rose Elsie Pope

Rose Pope, 82, of Westminster passed away on Thursday, January 9, 2020 at St. Anthony North in Westminster. Born on January 10, 1937 she was the daughter of the late Louis T. and Gladys L. (Brouhard) Herbeck. Rose married Jack Pope on October 1, 1957 and together they shared 58 years of marriage until his passing in 2015.

Rose worked as a Clerical Manager with the State of Colorado. Rose enjoyed volunteering for activities, theatre and gardening.

Rose will be remembered for her courageous strength and the love for her family.

She is survived by her children, Rhonda (Roger) Bies, David (Missy) Pope; grandchildren, Luke Bies, Tyler Bies, Wade Bies, Jeffrey Pope; great-grandchildren, Decker Delisa, Kinsley Delisa, Peyton Pope.

She is predeceased by her husband, Jack.

A Visitation will be held on, Monday, January 20, 2020 at 5:00 PM with a Rosary Service to follow at 7:00 PM at Horan & McConaty, 7577 W. 80th Ave., Arvada, CO 80003. Funeral Mass on, Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Spirit of Christ Catholic Community, 7400 W 80th Ave, Arvada. Burial on Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 3698 South Sheridan Blvd, Denver.
