Rosemary (Rosemarie) Tabak departed this life on July 26, 2024. Rosemary was born in Illinois on January 12, 1931, to Joseph and Pearl (Banaszak) Osmanski. Sadly, her mother passed away when Rosemary was only four years old. When her father remarried, Louise Slota, they lovingly raised her and her brother Joe (Joseph). Shortly after graduating from high school she attended and graduated from Morton Business College. She worked as a medical secretary in dictation.
On September 15, 1956, Rosemary married Tony (Anthony) Tabak. Together they had two children; Debee (Debra) Kingsley (Rich) and Tom (Thomas) deceased. Rosemary was married to her late beloved and devoted husband, Tony for 55 years. When she moved to Colorado in 2011, she lovingly participated in activities with her granddaughter Bree (Brianna Rose) Kingsley. Rosemary’s amazing degree of precision skills of origination and dedication flowed into her proficiency as a wife of a Chicago police officer, mother, and grandmother. Rosemary was also very close to, highly valued, and deeply loved her many, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Her faith and family were the most significant parts of her life. She frequently volunteered at Risen Christ Catholic Parish. Family dinners, outings, celebrations, and holidays were key moments in her life.
Funeral Mass will be held at Risen Christ Catholic Parish, Denver, on August 21, 2024, at 10:00 AM. Rosemary will then rest at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery in Justice, Illinois.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Risen Christ Catholic Parish or Berkley Palliative Care and Hospice.
Please consider sharing your memories and condolences with Rosemarie's family, on her guestbook below.
