Rosemary is survived by her brother John O'Malley, Sister Colleen O'Malley CSJ, sisters in law Joan McCarthy and Neva Krattenmaker and brother in law Arthur Anderson. Her children: Mary Pierce, Michael (Patti) Krattenmaker, Kelly (Gini) Krattenmaker, Ann (Randy) Scott, James (Kathy) Krattenmaker, Karen (John) Kiernan, and Donald (Phyllis) Krattenmaker. 14 grandchildren: David Pierce, Sam Scott, Andrew Pierce, John Krattenmaker, Jennifer Scott, Cathrine Birch, Julia Otterstrom, Elizabeth Holder, Kevin Krattenmaker, Kaitlyn Krattenmaker, Meghin Kiernan, Brandon Krattenmaker, John Kiernan, and Matthew Krattenmaker. 9 great grandchildren: Taylor Martinez, Addisyn Martinez, Van Krattenmaker, Lily Krattenmaker, Isaac Holder, Owen Pierce, Evan Pierce, Evelyn Birch, and Benjamin Holder. Rosemary grew up in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She attended Ascension Grade School and graduated from St. Margaret's Academy. She married the love of her life, Donald Krattenmaker from Kent, Minnesota, when she was 19 shortly after he graduated from St. Thomas College in St. Paul and accepted employment at 3M. They were transferred three times before making Colorado their permanent residence. Rosemary took pride in her home, her family, and her St. Anne's community. Rosemary actively participated in Alter and Rosary. She was the president for a time. She spent 25 years preparing the gym for bingo and cleaning up after it every week to aid St. Anne's School. All seven children attended St. Anne's school. Rosemary knew how to have fun and she was truly the matriarch of her family. Hers was a home in which everyone was welcome; each one feeling special and respected. She treated her son's and daughter's spouses like they were her own children and cherished each grandchild and great grandchild with unashamed joy. Dudley Court children lovingly referred to her as Mrs. Rose and those entering the house on West 77th Way felt it was their ""real"" home though they could expect to hear her barking out orders and giving assignments. She did so in such a manner, though, that folks were not offended and were happy to help out. Nobody left without St. Christopher close by. Long time friend Steve Urban so accurately described her saying, ""Rosemary always smiled in a way only a true Irish woman could. That smile was effervescent. She lit up the room. (As did her laugh when watching ""I Love Lucy"".) There was never a scowl on her face. She was the quintessential role parent and role model engaged in her family's life."" God was thinking of her when he inspired the words in Proverbs 31. She was definitely of noble character. It was fitting she had her signature head of hair. She gained that ""crown of glory"" through a righteous life (Proverbs 16:31)."" ""IRISH PRAYER"" May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face; The rains fall soft upon your fields And until we meet again, May God hold you in the palm of his hand.
