Rosemary McShane, 91, died August 7, 2009. RoseMary McShane, a native Denverite, was born and raised at the dairy farm owned and operated by her father, Charles (Bert) Shackley and her Irish immigrant mother Elizabeth (Lizzy) McGovern Shackley. She graduated from Annunciation High School in 1935. After graduation, she attended Barnes Business School. She was active throughtout the years in Catholic charitable organizations. She served as a Council member of the Archbishop's Guild, where she was a member of the Little Flower Circle for over 60 years. She also was a member of the Jeanne Jugan Auxiliary, Samaritan House Guild and the Cathedral Alumni Club. She was active in the PTA activities while her children were in Cure d' Ars Grade school. RoseMary worked part time in a secreterial capacity for several Denver businesses and the Denver Convention and Visitors Bureau. She retired after working with American Management Association at the age of 80 years old. She is survived by her sons: Joe and Kevin, and her daughters: Mary McShane, Colleen Cope and her husband Larry, and three grandsons: Kyle Griffen, Kevin and Ben Cope.
