Roy Hubel

Roy M Hubel, 97, of Centennial. Passed away on Tuesday February 8, 2022. Born August 29, 1924 in Middletown Connecticut, he was the son of Adolp Emil and Lillian (Morrison) Hubel. Roy married Isobel McGuffie (deceased 2017) on April 15,1950 in Waterbury, Connecticut and moved to Colorado in 1973. Roy was a veteran of WW II where he served as an Airborne Radar Technician with the United States Marines Corps. Roy was survived by his 4 children Kenneth, and his wife Rebecca, Diane and her husband Jon, Gary and his wife Cindy, and Eric and his wife Diane. Roy was blessed with 13 Grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Roy was a loving husband, father and a friend to many. He enjoyed painting, photography, playing the organ, camping, and singing in the church choir at Littleton Methodist Church in Littleton, Colorado. Roy enjoyed spending time with his family at their cottage on Cape Cod and many days on the beach. Roy was predeceased by his sister Roberta, and his brothers Frank and Bruce. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday March 1, 2022 at 10:00 am at the Horan & McConaty Chapel, 5303 East County Line Road. Centennial, Colorado 80122.
