Ruby Rosanne Ruybalid Barraza age 67 passed away from a stroke on April 19th 2019 at Sierra Health Care in Denver Colorado. She resided at Sierra Rehabilitation and Care Community in Denver, Colorado. She will be missed and remembered by many. Ruby was born on June 17th 1951 in Denver Colorado to the late Robert Sr. and Mary Ruybalid.. She was the oldest of four children. Ruby attended school at âLittle Sisters of the Poorâ in Denver, Colorado. She married David Barraza and they resided in Morrill, Nebraska, with their four children. She later returned back to her hometown of Denver, Colorado. Ruby had a great sense of humor and enjoyed spending time with her brother, Robert. She also had an amazing talent for drawing that she shared with her brother and passed that talent down to her children. Ruby loved to listen to music. Carole King, Sonny and Cher, and Janis Joplin being a few of her favorite artists. She is survived by her brother, Robert Silas (Barbara) Ruybalid., sister in-law Sandy (John) Ruybalid, her four children; Donna (Terry) Goodell, Dannel (Adam) Osthoff, David Barraza, and Steven (Amber) Barraza.; 11 grandchildren, Desiree, Christopher, Janeigh, Danny Jo, Kristin, Matthew, Madeline, Joey, Daeten, Danyl and Joshua; 2 great-grandchildren, Valerie and Ezra. Ruby is also survived by six nieces and nephews, John, Tina, Corrine, Janine, Johnny and Valerie; 12 grand nieces and nephews, Jeovanni, Jaia, Jodea, Josiah, Naomi, Gionni, Jovanni, Aiden, Roxana, Capri, Ian and Noah. Ruby is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Mary, her brother John, her sister Corrine, and grand niece Jodeci.
Family and friends are welcome to attend services for Ruby on Saturday May 11th at 5:30 pm at Presentation of Our Lady Catholic Church at 695 Julian St. , Denver, CO.
