Ruby A. Peters

Ruby Avis Peters was born January 10, 1919 in Newberry South Carolina to William Talmadge Kelly and Anna Inez Kelly. She is preceded in death by her husband Randall Hans Peters. They were married at Fort Jackson, South Carolina April 25, 1942, and remained together until Randall's death in 2001. She is survived by her sons Robert, Mark, and Gary; grandchildren Stephanie, Braden, Maxwell and Rita; and great grandchildren Grayson, Jackson and Sullivan. Ruby was a lifelong member of The Order of the Eastern Star. Ruby held a career as head of bookkeeping in the banking industry until retiring in 1980. She was also an avid cook, gardener, amateur ornithologist and loved fishing, camping and the outdoors. Ruby was loved by all of us and will be missed dearly. We love you Mom.
