Rudolph Clarence Rauh, age 94, passed away peacefully on March 6, 2024. Rudy was the salt of the earth and was loved and respected by all who knew him.
Born March 15, 1929 in Perryville, Missouri, to Rudolph Rauh and Evelyn Ochs, Rudy graduated from Perryville High School in May, 1948. He later joined the Navy and attended Airman School, where he became an aviation machinist.
After his honorable discharge, Rudy devoted much of his time working in construction and as a devoted caregiver to his family members.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Katherine DeLona, his son, Daniel Lynn Rauh, and his brother, Raymond Rauh.
Rudy is survived by his son, Robert Dale Rauh, his brothers Melvin Rauh and Larry Rauh, his sisters, Helen Lohmeier and Janet Manning, and several grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 4, 2024 at 2:00pm at Horan & McConaty Funeral Home in Aurora.
