Rudy Ruiz

Rudy Ruiz, age 49, passed away October 14, 2015. A public visitation will take place on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 from 11-1 p.m. at Light of Christ Anglican Church, 4000 W. Yale Ave. Denver, CO 80219 with a funeral service following at 1 p.m. A Committal service will take place at Fort Logan National Cemetery. Please meet at Staging Area B. Rudy grew up in Ruskin, FL, and lived there until he enlisted in the army at age 18, where he worked as a military technician/mechanic. He settled down in Colorado springs, where he married and raised his beautiful children. He served for thirty-one years. Rudy was a respected man and always inspired others to be better. He wasn't just a friend, but a role model and mentor as well. Rudy is survived by his mother Martha Hernandez, his sisters MaryAnn Mungia, Martha Ruiz, Rosemary Lorenzo, Chris Cavazos, Selina Cardenas, Reena Carrejo, Liza Reyes, and brother Rumaldo Reyes, his wife Andrea Martinez, his son Christopher Ruiz, and his three daughters Stephanie Martinez, Aracelys Martinez and Yarelys Martinez, and grandson Hayden Ruiz.
