Russ Hoos

William Russell “Russ” Hoos, 76, of Centennial, passed away peacefully at his home Saturday, February 26, 2022. He was born in Pittsfield, IL on February 10, 1946.  Russ is preceded in death by his high school sweetheart and first wife, Karen, his parents, Ross & Virginia, and his brother, JD. Russ is survived by his spouse, Cassie, his children, Tim Hoos and Kari (Mike) Polakowski, his stepchildren, Rosa (Mark) Rowell, James Van Vranken, Melinda (Daryl) Eggers, and his 2 sisters and 3 brothers. He is lovingly remembered by his 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Russ is a veteran of the US Army, having served in Germany before being honorably discharged. He is a retired gas and electric engineer, having worked for Public Service Co. for close to 35 years.

Memorial service will be held Friday, March 25, 2022, 11:30am, Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3101 S. Wadsworth Blvd., Lakewood, Colorado. Committal will follow at 1pm, staging area A, Fort Logan National Cemetery.
