Russell Dennis Stearns

Russell Dennis Stearns, 57, of Littleton, Colorado passed away August 3, 2014 at his parents' home in Westminster after a courageous fight with cancer. Russ was born March 16, 1957 in Windsor, Vermont. He graduated from Westminster High School in 1975. Russ worked 34 years as the school bus foreman for Cherry Creek Schools. He enjoyed photography, camping, fishing, and sight-seeing but his passion was Ford Mustangs, which he drove and restored. Russ is survived by his children Zach (Whitney) and Madison; parents William and Doris; sister Nancy; nephews Ian and Christopher (Allison); niece Melissa (John). He was preceded in death by his brother Neil. A Memorial (Celebration of Life) for Russ will be held Saturday, September 6, 1:00-4:00 PM at St. Martha's Episcopal Church, 4001 West 76th Avenue, Westminster, Colorado. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made at any Wells Fargo Bank under the name of Russell Stearns Memorial Fund.
