Ruth Ann Kleinecke Box, 59, passed from this life on January 2, 2014 at Parker Adventist Hospital at 4:25 p.m. Ruth Ann was born in Lubbock, Texas on January 24, 1953 to Anga Glynne Mason Kleinecke and James Leslie Kleinecke. Ruth Ann had three brothers. Her family moved to Springfield, Missouri when she was only three months old. There she attended elementary school until the age of 12, when her family moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma. In Tulsa, she attended Edison junior high and high school, being graduated with the high school class of 1972. At the University of Oklahoma in Norman, Ruth Ann earned a journalism degree in 1976, and later earned her law degree. Between college and law school, she worked as a reporter at the leading newspaper in Oklahoma City. After law school, she continued to work in Oklahoma City in a private law firm handling real estate matters. On June 8, 1985, Ruth Ann married Doug Box in Dallas, Texas, where they continued to live, and where she gave birth to her child, Al, on February 5, 1987. She had gone to work as a claims attorney in downtown Dallas for Lawyers Title Insurance. She became a full time mom for a few years before she became general counsel for two nutrition companies in Dallas. She sold her interest in the second company and after a few years, moved to Aurora, Colorado with the young boys she had adopted from Guatamala, Andrew and Christopher. Ruth Ann worked at the Colorado office of First American Title Insurance until her retirement. She became a member of Calvary Chapel in Aurora, where her son Andrew is enrolled in school. Ruth Ann was preceded in death by her father and by her brothers Neil and Brian. She is survived by her mother, Angie, of Tulsa, her brother, Walter, of San Francisco, and her three children.
