Janet P. Call, 85, of Littleton, Colorado, formerly of Smyrna, Delaware passed away Friday, April 29th, 2011 at her home with family by her side. Wife of the late Carson B. Call, she is survived by her son, Robert B. (Lisa) Call of Littleton; Grandsons, Ryan, Michael, Steven and Patrick; Great Granddaughter, Lyvia Joy. Janet was born in Dover, Delaware on March 14, 1926. The daughter of Ruth Wallen Pyle and William A.F. Pyle of Smyrna, she graduated from John Bassett Moore HS in Smyrna in 1944, attended Beacom College, and married Corp. Carson Call of the US Army Corp on Saturday, July 3, 1948 at Scott Field near Bellville, Illinois. Son, ""Bob"", was born March 26, 1953 in Dover, Delaware. Janet worked at various positions in banking and the Smyrna School District before retiring in 1986 to Littleton, Colorado where she enjoyed her four grandchildren and great granddaughter. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, May 12, at 11:00am in Smyrna at Asbury United Methodist Church. Interment at Odd Fellows Cemetery. A memorial service will be held in Littleton early August after her grandson, Michael, returns from deployment in Afghanistan.
