Ruth Hernandez-Rivera

Ruth Hernandez passed away in her home on November 4, 2022 in Lakewood, CO at the age of 57 after battling cancer for many years.

Ruth is survived by her husband of 25 years, Jesus Gonzalez; 4 children: Irving Hernandez, Oswaldo Hernandez, Edgardo Hernandez, Nilson Hernandez; 5 grandchildren: Eduardo, Matthew and Junior Leiva, Adrian and Alex Hernandez; 1 great granddaughter: Zarley Dalila Leiva; 4 Siblings: Alba, Arely, Oscar, and Vilma Hernandez

Ruth was born in Santa Ana, El Salvador on April 15, 1965. At the age of 24 she moved to The United States. Since 1997 she worked at St. Anthony Hospital as a CNA. She enjoyed taking care of people and loved her job.

Ruth was in love with the outdoors. She enjoyed hikes all over the Rocky Mountains. She will be remembered for her loving and caring character, her cooking and love for animals. She will be laid to rest on November 14, 2022 at Golden Cemetery in Golden, CO.
