Ruth Hillebrand

Wife, Sister of One, Mother of 3, Grandmother of 5, Great Grandmother of 2, Aunt of 9, and Great Aunt of 19.

Ruth H. Hillebrand, 79, of Roxborough Colorado peacefully passed away on June 13th, 2022.

She was born in Washington, DC on January 18th, 1943, to the late Bill and Mary Humphry.

Ruth left behind a beautiful family. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Allen Oscar Hillebrand, her sister Clara Salloom, her three daughters Robyn Kyriak, Virginia (Ginny) Arnold, Wendy Jones, her five grandchildren Kayla Kim, Joe Pelar, Lena Pelar, Chloe Jones, Griffin Jones, her great grandchildren Isabela Good, Jace Kim, her sons-in-law Bobby Arnold, Tim Jones, her brothers-in-law George Salloom, Gerry Hillebrand, her sister-in-law Joyce Korinek, and many nieces and nephews. Ruth was preceded by her three half sisters Sarah Cullingford, Ina Abernethy, and Kathryn Albro.

Ruth always did things for others. She’d always know when our favorite shows were on, favorite teams were playing or favorite concerts were happening, and she’d make sure to tell us about them, so we didn’t miss them. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She’d visit Joe and Lena in Chicago.  She’d let her granddaughters Kayla and Chloe mix up all sorts of potions and perfumes. She had a special bond with her youngest Grandson, Griffin. He could get her to turn off her favorite shows and let him show her how to play video games or listen to him talk about roller coasters and cameras.

Ruth loved watching Nascar and her favorite driver was Jeff Gordan. She had a broad taste in music from Elvis to Bon Jovi, but her favorite singer by far was Luke Bryan.

A memorial service will be held at St. Frances Cabrini (Saint Frances Cabrini Catholic Church (sfcparish.org)) 6673 W. Chatfield Ave. Littleton, CO 801238 on August 5th, 2022, at 10:30 am. The family will be live streaming the service.  Please check back for the link.
