Ruth V. Lambdin, 92, couldn't wait a minute longer to rejoin the love of her life John so she made the journey on November 17, 2013 and they walked hand and hand through the pearly gates. Ruth was born November 20, 1920 in Seminole, Oklahoma to George and Violet Chastain Wade. Ruth and John dedicated their lives educating young people but more importantly they were just good, moral people and taught their sons right from wrong. Ruth loved to collect buttons and they both loved anything old and shiny. Her crescent rolls will be missed at Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner. No one could make better ones. Here's hoping they have Fleishman's yeast in heaven. Ruth is survived by her two sons, Ken Lambdin and Tim (Sharon) Lambdin; former daughter-in-law, Suzanne Lambdin; grandchildren, Jennifer (Colin) Crotty; Jessica Lambdin; Jacob Lambdin; and sisters, Rose and Margie. A private family burial will be held for Ruth as she is laid to rest with her husband at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 3698 S. Sheridan Blvd., Denver, CO.
