Ruth Mazzotti

Ruth, 88, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2017 at her home in Welby, Colorado. She was born and raised in the Globeville neighborhood and graduated from North High School. She is survived by her husband, of 68 years, George Mazzotti, Sr.; children, George Mazzotti, Jr. and Cathy (Rick) Martinelli; granddaughter, Gina (Daniel) Martinez; sisters-in-law, Wilma Shaball and Norma Shaball; and numerous nieces and nephews. Ruth is preceded in death by her infant son, Marc Mazzotti; parents, Joseph and Mamie Shaball; siblings, Frances Wolfe, Joseph Shaball, Virginia Rapue, John Shaball and Angie Cazzel. Visitation will begin Thursday, March 16, 2017 at 6 PM with Recitation of the Rosary at 7 PM; Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, March 17, 2017, at 10:30 AM, all at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 2361 East 78th Avenue, in Welby, Colorado 80229. Entombment follows at Mount Olivet Cemetery.
