Ruth Ann Shimonkevitz

Ruth Ann Shimonkevitz, born August 8, 1946 in Dickson City, Pennsylvania, passed away July 4, 2017 after a long illness. She is survived by her mother, Adeline Shimonkevitz (Demboski), her sister Susan and her husband Corby Decker, her children Steven, David and Julie, and her brother Richard and his wife Christa Rheindt and their children Lisa and Christian. Her father, Colonel William Shimonkevitz, USAF, preceded her passing in 2005. Ruth graduated Magna Cum Laude from Catholic University in Washington D.C. and was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. She was employed for 25 years by the Department of Labor Information Office, in Washington D.C. and for several years in Denver, Colorado. A memorial service will be held August 8, 2017 at 11:00am at Horan & McConaty, 3101 South Wadsworth Boulevard, Lakewood, Colorado, with a reception to follow.
