Ruth A. Stockton

Ruth A. Stockton, 78, of Lakewood passed away on Monday, December 3, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. Born on June 9, 1940 in Akron Colorado she was the daughter of Sylvester and Bertha (Hottinger) Yonker. Ruth married Neal D. Stockton on August 20, 1966 and together they shared 52 years of marriage.

Ruth worked as a system analyst for Coors Brewery.

She enjoyed watching the Denver Broncos, her Ford Mustangs, listening to Elvis Presley and her grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, Neal, she is survived by her daughters Kathleen McMillin and her husband, Vernon McMillin and Charlotte Stockton-Barbee and her husband, Scott Barbee, her grandchildren: Zachary McMillin, Elijah Barbee and Leah Barbee her siblings, Ursie Collard, Jeanne Verde, Michael Yonker, Nick Yonker, Teresa Krissie, Chris Yonker and Greg Yonker. She was preceded in death by her siblings Anne Yonker and Randy Yonker.

A Visitation will be held at 3 PM with a Rosary at 4 PM on Sunday, December 9, 2018 at Horan & McConaty, 3101 S. Wadsworth Blvd. Lakewood, CO 80227. Funeral Mass on Monday, December 10, 2018 at 2:30 PM at Notre Dame Catholic Church, 2190 South Sheridan Blvd., Denver, CO 80219. Burial on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at 9:30 AM at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 3698 S. Sheridan Blvd. Denver, CO 80236.
