S. Earl Sansing

S. Earl Sansing (Captain, USMC, Ret.) passed away March 9, 2006. Husband of Kendall; father of Peggy Walter, Jenn Goldberg and Kathryn Sansing. Grandfather of Adrian Goldberg; brother of William and Sue Sansing and Porter Stover. Earl was born in Athens, TX, to Tillie Grace and Silas Earl Sansing on January 15, 1928. He fought in the Korean War and was awarded 3 Purple Hearts and other decorations as a member of the Chosin Few. Earl and Kendall met while working for the U.S. Government in Saigon and were married 35 years. Following the Vietnam War, Earl practiced international law. He will be fondly remembered for his unparalleled generosity and love of life. Memorial Service, Wednesday, 2:00 PM, Central Christian Church, 3690 Cherry Creek South Drive, Denver, 80209. Private burial, Ft. Logan Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, family asks donations be made to Central Christian Church.
