Salvatore Matthew ""Matt"" Rigatti

Matt Rigatti passed away in his sleep on January 30^th, 2019 at the age of 32 and is survived by his Father Vincent, Mother Richelle, Brother Michael, Brother-in-law Ryan Hughes, Grandmother Armida Rigatti, Grandfather Billy George Wells and extended family and friends.

Matt was a graduate of CU Boulder and had a degree in Applied Mathematics and Engineering Physics. He had a brilliant mind for math, music and science and had a great curiosity about our universe and technology. During his life he lived in Texas, Indonesia and spent the last 19 years in Colorado. He enjoyed video gaming, going out for Italian or Mexican food, homemade pasta sauce, cats and kittens, a good laugh, and reading about historic scientists.

During his life Matt suffered greatly from debilitating mental health issues, but he heroically fought through many personal difficulties to get a technical college degree with honors, and always put on a brave face around his friends and in public. He is now at peace and will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.
