Sam Pyle

Sam Pyle, 18, passed away August 17, 2020. He is a son, grandson, brother, cousin, nephew and friend.

Sam is a beautiful human being who has a kind heart and loved people and nature. He loved to hike, ski, play rugby and basketball and he loved to listen to music and dance. Sam also loved food and was quite the food critic. He was always open to new things. Sam was quick with a hug, a smile and a kind word for everyone.

Sam cared for others deeply and is the epitome of the person who would give you the shirt off his back and much, much more. He was a wonderful gift to us and will be deeply missed and thought of often.

Sam is survived by his mother, Lisa Williams (Terry Hernandez); father, Jason Pyle (Gail Gaumond Pyle); sisters, Ani Monroe and Audrina Pyle; brother, Logan Gaumond Ashcroft; grandparents, Ron & Vicki Kusz, Jay Sherwood and Debby Duffy. Preceded in death by Francis Pyle and Steve & Carol Gaumond.

An outdoor Memorial Service will be held Saturday, August 29, 2020, 9am at Calvary Bible Church, 3245 Kalmia Avenue, Boulder.

Is social distancing required?
Maintain social distancing with a minimum of six feet from all other households. We will follow a singular flow of traffic while entering and exiting the lawn.

Do I need to wear a mask?
We strongly encourage you to wear a mask. Masks have been shown to be effective at slowing the spread of COVID-19. Staff and volunteers are required to wear masks and have their temperature taken.

Will hand sanitizer be available?
Hand sanitizer stations will be available throughout the property.

Where should I sit?
Bring your own chair, blanket, umbrella, and/or canopy. We will have flags and designated areas to sit.

Will I be able to use the restroom?
Plan to use the restroom at home before coming to the outdoor service. Restrooms may only be used in an emergency and one household at a time.

Will I be able to access the building?
Building use will not be permitted.

Blue Zone Parking: Arrive 8:45-8:50, Depart 10:00-10:05
Yellow Zone Parking: Arrive 8:50-8:55, Depart 10:05-10:10
Red Zone Parking: Arrive 8:55-9am, Depart 10-10:05
