Samuel Craig Fox, 33, of Aurora, Colorado, passed away November 29, 2015 in Denver, Colorado. He was born November 28, 1982 in Bountiful, Utah to Birney Craig and Lynette Whatcott Fox. Samuel was an energetic, fun loving child. He loved playing soccer into his high school years, and also played his Grandpa Whatcott's coronet in the school band. Sam was a talented, self-taught artist. He loved watching TV, movies, Nuggets, Broncos games, and news networks. He liked to call and discuss world events with his Mom. Samuel had a big heart and loved teaching tricks to his two little dogs, Pixie and Peanut. Samuel developed mental illnesses in his 20's, and was plagued by this throughout the remainder of his life. He tried hard to overcome this challenge and fought a valiant fight, but eventually physical illness overcame him. Sam is survived by his parents; sister, Rebecca Jean Briscoe (husband, Chad) and nieces Emily, Katherine and Luciana (born 11/25/15); and brother, Benjamin Fox. A Funeral service for Sam will be held on Friday, December 4, 2015, 11:00am, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 5175 South Picadilly Street, Centennial, CO 80015. Friends may greet the family from 10-10:45am. Burial will be immediately following the service at Fairmount Cemetery, 430 South Quebec Street, Denver, CO. 80247.
