Sandra K. Harker, 71, of Frederick, CO, passed away in her sleep Monday, August 31st, 2015. The only child of Charles & Esther Lane, Sandie was born November 7, 1943 in Oxnard, California, where she grew up & met her husband of 55 years. They lived in Central Pennsylvania, as well as Ventura County, California, before settling in Colorado in 1993. Sandie was a Senior Buyer, retiring from Procter & Gamble after countless accolades, one of which was she was one of the 1st women to work in a paper mill. While living in Grand Junction, Colorado, she operated her own ironing business from her family home. Sandie truly enjoyed ironing & often said she found it soothing. Most recently, she was a valued employee of Emerson Processing until September of 2012. Sandie took exceptional pride in her beauty, her hair always perfectly coiffed & she was constantly receiving compliments on her flawlessly manicured nails. Sandie will also be remembered for her unwavering devotion & love for her family. Magnanimous to her core, Sandie was genuine & pure & will be cherished forever. Sandie is preceded in death by her parents, her daughters Shelley & Jodi, her son Erick & her granddaughter Amanda. She is survived by her husband Thomas, her daughter Robin, her granddaughters Jennifer, Renee, Justine & Megan, her great grandsons Luke, Aaron & Jacob, as well as her long time best friend Shirley Dove & many loving in-laws back in Pennsylvania. Sandie's invaluable love & knowledge will be surely missed but eternally preserved in our hearts.
